Before embarking on our Alaskan cruise ship, we decide to spend some time in Vancouver, Canada to explore and enjoy. It was also where I spent my 35th birthday, which unfortunately was my first birthday without my father – we share a birthday. He had just passed away. So it was a bit bittersweet. In a way, it was nice to be exploring the world and thinking of my dad during the first part of my grieving, instead of doing the mundane daily tasks.
